Business Policies
Costume rental fees are for up to 48 hours,
and must be paid by cash or check from a local bank. No credit or
debit cards are taken. A refundable security deposit, equal to twice
the rental fee, is also required. Rental fees range between $25 and
$85, depending upon the complexity, maintenance, and accessories with the
costume. Special emphasis has been placed on stocking more
theatrical-quality costumes, and many of the costumes are original or
one-of-a-kind. Appropriate accessories are included
with each costume whenever possible. All rentals are on a
first-come, first served basis, and this is important, since there is only
one each of most costumes in the inventory. To reserve a costume for
a specific date, it is necessary to pay the rental fee. Then, the
security deposit is paid at the time the costume is actually picked up.
Costumes are all adult sizes, ranging from small to extra large, but the
actual sizes vary from one manufacturer to another. Unfortunately,
many costumes are still only available in a single "standard" size, so it
is important to actually try the costume on to assure that it fits.
If costumes are returned late, or are damaged, or are missing parts, then
an appropriate deduction will be made from the security deposit.

Over One Week's Notice: 90% Refund

Less than 72 Hours Notice of Change: None Permitted
One Week to 72 Hours Notice of Change: Add 25%
Over One Week's Notice of Change: Add 10%
